Jambo! Greetings!
Here is an update on what has been happening recently with Daystar US:
A 2nd container of nursing equipment has shipped! The equipment was donated from our friends at Matter and the shipping was covered by close friends of Daystar. This container is expected to arrive in Kenya the end of June. This should help to prepare the 427 Nursing students who are studying at the Athi River Campus.
President Laban completed a visit in the U.S. last Tuesday, as he flew back to Kenya. A few of the highlights of his trip include:

A church in Santa Ana, CA, which has been partners with Daystar since 1990!

President Laban also attended a conference in Iowa and one here in Minneapolis. He traveled to Washington, D.C., where he met with the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) and three other universities. A Daystar alumna and DUS board member also organized a gathering of DU alumni living in that area.
