We Asked and You Responded

Last week we asked you to focus on prayer for Daystar University and the many students impacted by the current pandemic.

Your response and God's goodness has been so exciting!

To date, over $40,000 has been sent to the university in support of Daystar students. Your help is already making a difference. The funds are being used to provide protective gear and sanitizer for students, to feed and care for students on campus, and to provide internet access to students who could not access the internet to attend online classes.

The many needs of our students continue during these challenging times. We ask that you prayerfully consider joining us in supporting both our international students and hundreds of other students. Many of these students cannot make their school fee payments or afford the cost of accessing online learning.

COVID-19 Impact on Kenya

Kenya is one of the top seven low and middle-income countries most vulnerable to direct adverse economic losses due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

A report by global think tank Overseas Development Institute titled Economic Vulnerabilities to Health Pandemics said these countries are most likely to suffer huge economic impacts due to the virus.

The opportunity for the Body of Christ to be the hands and feet of our LORD and Savior is upon us in an unprecedented way. We are grateful to the hundreds of Daystar U.S. friends who have joined with us to make HIM known in these days.

Please join us in reaching our goal of $119,000 to meet the immediate needs of our International Students and to assist so many more whose families are being impacted because of COVID-19.

55 International Students are unable to travel home to be with family.

392 students cannot make their school fee payment as a result of the current economic situation and the uncertainty that is looming.
