Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Romans 12:2 NIV

When I first started at Daystar I had absolutely no idea how much my life would be forever be altered by the people I was going to meet. I've heard a few individuals say that Africa captures you and I can attest from my time here, even though short, that this is indeed true.

The stories that come out of Daystar are nothing short of amazing. Each and every day students that come from humble, and even dangerous beginnings continue to be transformed into servant-leaders. These leaders are changing Kenya, and Africa for the better, all because of the support and opportunities that you have provided for them.

Carren's father went to be with the Lord just before she graduated primary school. This loss made supporting and even finding food for their family difficult for her mother.
