It is a privilege to share with you this week while Alan is away on a family vacation.  Alan has been pouring himself out for Daystar for over 20 years.  Will you please pray that the Lord will pour out His grace on Alan and his family (Sheila and their six children) this week?

I am thankful I get the opportunity to share a special video from Daystar nurses who are serving in a difficult time for health care workers.  I hope the video below will be an encouragement to you as you reflect on the beautiful words of Psalm 23.

Daystar Nurses Share Psalm 23 During Covid

Cate shares about student life during Covid.

Scholarship student, Cate, shared about how he is feeling during the upheaval during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Cate wrote, “Our normal and physical classes were disrupted by COVID-19 and had to resort to e-learning which was a challenge sometimes due to technical hitches here and there but all in all I thank God that the semester was a success for me despite the abrupt change of events. There were severe challenges for most students who had no access to internet or computers (especially for the undergraduate program students) but for the postgraduate; the only complaints that I heard was unstable network connections once in a while interfering with the smooth running of the lessons. Change is inevitable and we just have to look for ways to work around it and adapt to it fully.

Currently, I continue to enjoy spending time with family, friends (virtually) and colleagues every now and then whenever we have to physically be in the office. It is saddening that we cannot congregate in church like we used to but I am thankful to God for technology, as I try to engage myself with online spiritual nurture programs provided by my church and those shared by my friend/boss, Jeniffer Kinoti.

Other than that, all is well and I am grateful for every moment and day that passes along. With this, I continue to thank God for the gift of you in my life. May you forever be highly favored by God in everything you do. Many thanks for your continuous support and immense love towards me. May you receive blessings beyond measure each new day!”
