Whenever an opportunity presents itself, I consider it as a great privilege to share my personal testimony. This is simply because I have never forgotten about my conversion experience which has brought an enormous transformation to my previously bleak and hopeless life.

I encountered the God Man, Jesus Christ about 18 years ago. Prior to this encounter, I had always been sympathetic to the Christian faith because my parents were Christians. Although I always found myself in the church, I had not personally accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior. The momentum finally came when a friend invited me to a three day crusade being organized by his church. On the final day, the preacher spoke about the second coming of Christ. This message had an irresistible hold on me to the point that I couldn’t help but moved forward during the altar call to accept Christ as my personal Savior. Since that time, my life has been significantly changed and improved for the better. The power of sin upon my life has been broken and my life has become a vessel honor to the glory of God.

For that reason, I have since then sought for opportunities to serve the Lord in any capacity He leads. Because of consistent Christian character and ample evidence of God’s call upon my life, my senior pastor recommended that I pursue theological training to prepare myself for ministry which enabled me to served in many capacities because it’s the Lord who enables me to do whatever I do. I desired to follow His will and finally, I was ordained as a pastor to serve in the Lord’s vineyard in 2006. I studied at Christian Service University College and become a teaching assistant. I also assisted with a new church plant as the national youth leader. My responsibilities included coordinating local evangelism.

Notwithstanding, I face many challenges in my Christian life and as a young pastor. I face the challenge of maintaining my integrity in an environment where servants of God have begun compromising their loyalty and integrity. However, through constant study of Scripture and personal commitment to the Lord, I am always spiritually rejuvenated to deal with these challenges.

I am grateful to study at Daystar University because I hope to lecture in the area of corporate communications in a Christian institution. This will be part of my opportunity to serve the Lord in His vineyard and to be a useful vessel in the church and community towards building a better society for God. Since Daystar University is a Christian university, I expectantly look forward to an environment that is conducive for nurturing my spiritual growth and helps mature me in Christ. I believe and hope to worship and share my testimony with other Christians in brotherly love and in unity.

I am therefore very determined and focused with vision to be to be an effective communicator of God’s will and purpose and help others to do the same. I hope to raise the banner of Christ high in my generation to let others behold the unsurpassed grace that God has bestowed on His creation through ministry and lecturing.
